Event Details
Several European Business Chambers, in collaboration with Mazars, will host an interactive panel discussion around the theme of combating corruption in South Africa.
This year, the world is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention against corruption (UNCAC). While commemorating this milestone, the event will aim at raising awareness on UNCAC and on discussing business integrity and the role of the private sector in preventing and countering corruption.
In the panel, we will host the following speakers:
- Ms Maria Adomeit - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
- Dr Achieng Ojwang - United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), South Africa Chapter
- Ms Sonia Giuricich - Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa
- Mr Wayne Duvenage - Organisation for Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA)
- Ms Mosilo Mothepu - the Trillian Whistleblower and author of "Uncaptured: the true account of the Nenegate/Trilian Whistleblower"
- Mr Kris Dobie - Senior Manager at the Ethics Institute (TEI)
