Bonang Mohale is the President of Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), Chancellor of the University of the Free State, Professor of Practice in the Johannesburg Business School (JBS) College of Business and Economics and Chairman of The Bidvest Group Limited, SBV Services and ArcelorMittal! He is a member of the Community of Chairpersons (CoC) of the World Economic Forum and author of the best-selling books, “Lift As You Rise“ and “Behold The Turtle” launched in November 2018 and November 2021 respectively - a compilation of some of his spoken and written words in which Mohale reveals the issues he is passionate about – among them ethical leadership, transformation, social justice, people development, constructive collaboration and integrity.
He is a highly respected South African businessman, who is known as much for his patriotism and his active role in seeking to advance the country’s interests. Bonang was the Chief Executive Officer of Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) until 30 June 2019, when he handed over the reigns to Prof. Busisiwe Mavuso. Over the decades he has been the recipient of several notable awards for his outstanding achievements.
